Acacia aculeatissima 'Snake Wattle' This plant is a prostrate form of Acacia with fine foliage and yellow ball flowers occurring from winter to early spring. POSITION: Snake Wattle grows in full sun to part shaded areas in most well drained soils including coastal. CARE: A hardy plant that requires little maintenance other than an annual prune. Occasionally feed with a slow release low phosphorus fertiliser, will be of benefit. Mulching around the base will help conserve moisture. USES: Snake Wattle is an attractive groundcover plant suitable for rockeries and embankments. |
