Correa alba prostrate 'Silver Star' A prostrate form of Correa with grey/green foliage and a good display of white star flowers occurring in winter/early spring. POSITION: Grows best in full sun to part shade in most well drained soil types. Silver Star withstands dry conditions. CARE: Once established Silver Star requires little maintenance. It may benefit from the occasional feed with a slow release low phosphorus fertiliser. May also benefit from tip pruning to maintain a dense habit. Mulching around the base will help to conserve moisture. USES: Correa Silver Star makes a hardy rockery plant or general garden plant. Low spreading habit makes it a versatile plant for smaller gardens. |
