Correa alba 'Saint Andrews'

This selected form of Correa alba from St Andrews beach in Victoria is hardy and compact making it a good landscape shrub. This plant has small, dainty, white bell-shaped flowers from autumn to winter making it attractive to fauna.

POSITION: Saint Andrews grows in both full sun to part shaded areas and is suitable for most well drained soils. This plant is ideal for coastal locations but is not suited to humid climates.

CARE: This plant requires little maintenance however pruning after flowering will promote a denser habit. Saint Andrews will benefit from an annual application of a low phosphorus slow release fertiliser and mulching around the base of the plant will help to conserve moisture.

USES: Saint Andrews responds well to pruning and can be used for hedging and for border planting.
