Correa glabra - Barossa Gold

This is a medium shrub with a compact habit. The foliage is an unusual golden colour in full sunlight changing to lime green in shaded conditions. Barossa Gold has dusty red tubular flowers occurring in late autumn to early spring.

POSITION: Barossa Gold is a hardy plant, and grows well in full sunlight to shaded areas with good drainage, grows in most soils.

CARE: This form of Correa glabra requires little maintenance other than an annual tip prune to create a more compact habit. This plant will benefit from an occasional feed of slow release low phosphorus fertilizer, and mulching around base will help conserve moisture.

USES: Barossa Gold makes a good contrasting foliage plant to be used for hedging, or as good plant for shaded areas to give a lime highlight for under story planting.
