Grevillea nudiflora 'Curvy Tops' Found at Point Ann in the Fitzgerald River National Park WA. A small shrub with long, dark green foliage and clusters of red and yellow flowers occurring on leafless branches from autumn to spring. Attractive to honey eating birds when in flower. POSITION: Grows in full sun to dappled shade and is suited to most soils that are well drained. Once established Curvy Tops will cope with very dry conditions. CARE: Curvy Tops requires very little maintenance other than an annual tip prune. Occasional feeding with a slow release low phosphorus fertiliser is beneficial. Mulching around the base will help to conserve moisture. USES: Curvy Tops trailing habit makes it a good rockery or retaining wall plant, and is a long lived garden plant. |
