Lomandra affinis cylindrica This Lomandra species has been identified as being closest botanically to cylindrica. Lomandra affinis cylindrica has a small fine lime leaf with weeping foliage, and is a tufted grass like plant. Scented yellow flowers occur in summer. POSITION: This Lomandra does not tolerate heavy wet clay soils, and requires good drainage. Grows well in full sun and soft shaded areas in light moist soils, will tolerate periods of dry. CARE: Once established in suitable conditions this plant requires no maintenance. Mulching around the base will help conserve moisture. USES: Lomandra affinis cylindrica makes a decorative lime border in the garden, or grouped together to form an attractive landscape scene for contrasting effect. |
