Melaleuca pentagona x nematophylla 'Pink Sunset' A small rounded shrub with narrow grey/green foliage and balls of pink/ purple flowers tipped with lemon, occurring in late spring /early summer. POSITION: Grows in full sun to part shade. Tolerates most soil types and dry conditions. CARE: Once established Melaleuca Pink Sunset requires very little maintenance other than an annual tip prune to maintain shape. Benefits form occasional feeding with a slow release low phosphorus fertiliser. Mulching around the base will help to conserve moisture. USES: Melaleuca Pink Sunset is useful as an attractive rockery or specimen plant for the garden. Pink Sunset can also be used as spectacular low hedge. |
