Rhagodia spinescens 'Creeping Saltbush' A vigorous low growing plant with a compact habit and silver hairy foliage. Insignificant flowers occur through spring, summer and autumn. POSITION: Grows best in full sun and part shaded areas in most soil types, including coastal. CARE: An extremely hardy plant that requires little maintenance other than an annual prune. Will benefit from an occasional feed with a slow release fertiliser. Mulching around the base will help to conserve moisture. USES: Creeping Saltbush is an excellent hedging or border plant that is suitable for rockeries. It will create a thick hedge in the most difficult positions. |
