Scaevola nitida 'Sapphire Skies'

A small to medium bushy shrub with rich green lightly toothed leaves. Has a multitude of sapphire blue flowers in Spring to early Summer.

POSITION: A very hardy drought tolerant plant. Grows best in full sun and can take full coastal exposure. Likes well drained open soils, but will grow in most well drained soils.

CARE: Once established this plant requires very little maintenance or water. A dressing of slow release fertilizer once a year in early Spring would be beneficial. Cutting back after the flowering season will help to keep the plant compact in habit.

USES: Attractive flowering plant for garden beds, pots and tubs.
